Prior to Kosi’s appointment at NBSSI, she was the director for Nuba foods and commodities and had worked with Solidaridad as an agribusiness consultant. Ms. Yankey graduated from Harvard University, USA, with a Master’s in Public Administration and Public Policy from the John F. Kennedy School of Government. Kosi has since then developed a deep understanding and knowledge of finance, incubating businesses, accelerating their growth and funding SME’s through her work with Deutsche Bank, Citigroup, Merrill Lynch and UBS.
She has also founded and led the strategic development and growth of various projects for international and local partners. As a consultant, she has worked and supported programs funded by various partners such as USAID, CIDA and the Dutch Embassy, as well as international NGOs, impact investors, and a number of consulting firms. In the past three years, she has raised and managed multi million dollars in funds and developed different entrepreneurial programs to support entrepreneurs and their Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Ghana.
